Reverting back to Childhood Instinct.

This should be simple…we once naturally had it. Just need to relearn it, kinda like putting on a pair of skates after 20 years of not being on the ice or jumping on a bike after many years.

If you're a teen or a young adult this may not have been considered, a thought or even a realization that you are losing or have lost anything. Humans are dynamic, constantly changing and evolving. This evolution, I believe is usually thought to be growth. In many ways we do grow; obviously in height and weight and all other physical attributes; in knowledge and physical capabilities and capacities. But have you ever given thought to what we loose from when we are babies to let’s say 10 years of age and some other natural parts of our childhood qualities maybe up to and into our later teens?

As a baby we naturally knew and had the ability to breath, not just breath to stay alive, but how to breath down into our diaphragm to nurture our organs and vagus nerve.  Many adults practice to relearn this because they realize the importance for their health, be it through Kung Fu, Yoga, meditation or through stress reduction programs. What about trust, love, having fun, ability to learn and absorb, non-judgment,  equality, acceptance, creativity, living in the moment, endless energy, ability to sleep hard, stresslessness (I think I may have created a word).

At my age (not old, just older. lol), I am knowingly yearning and seeking to renew and build my childhood being again. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to relive that portion of my life again, I’m proud to be what I’ve become and who I still yearn to be, but I would love to have all those instinctual qualities part of me here again today.
