Time Management Attempt
Disclaimer: π
It’s been quite a few years since I’ve written blogs and I feel I have lots that I’d like to journal on and share. I have questions for you and for me. I encourage dialogue. But most of all I want to apologize in advance, as some of my previous writings have been quite long. I will attempt to hone in on my main topic and remain within. Thanks for reading.
Two days ago I jumped on our stationary bike and attempted a verbal blog within notes on my iPhone simultaneously. It was successful, a realization, at the same time less successful and a learning event.
Due to the fact that I would much rather be running a single track trail through the forest, rather than be on a bike in my basement, I was not expecting the result that I received. This multitask event actually proved some success. What was not super successful was the verbal translation onto my phone, we all know how this can sometimes play out. The anticipated verbal blog, was not all a failure as it had a lot of captured thoughts, but it was an editing project in itself.
The true success was in the bike ride…in the basement, I know, I don’t believe I’m saying that myself. I had about 30 minutes in on this training ride at a fair tension, so pushing pretty good all the way through. During the verbalization of what was going to be a potential blog and peddling away, I don’t recall the ride or the physical push at all. The result was a successful calorie burn, body dripping workout on a stationary bike in my basement, that didn’t seem like a mental push at all…it just happened organically. Certainly a realization to ponder over!
Multitasking and working the mind to your benefit…I’m doing this again, with the hopes of a valid blog out of the event as well.
